Frequently asked questions:
Q: Do you provide for single familes?
A: Unfortuniately we do not. Due to the high volume of local non-profit organizations and requests, we cannot accomidate to single families. We ask for single familes to find a local non-profit organization to seek assistance for this years holidays.
Q: Where can I find drop off locations?
A: Click "Ways to donate", "Donate a toy". There you will see all of the approved drop off locations. You can even filter by zipcode to find the closest one by you!
Q: What do you not collect?
A: We do not collect food or clothing. We also do not collect items which require a system to use (e.g., movies and video games).
Q: Can I request specific toys?
A: We do not take specific toy requests. We distribute the toys we receive from the community and do not purchase high-priced items. We will take into consideration if a medical condition limits what the child should receive.
Q: I don't have access to a computer, how do I fill out the online registeration?
A: Due to the high volume of applications, it is not practical for us to accept written applications. It is also not advised that applicants use a mobile device as there have been numerous problems using such devices. It is encouraged that applicants visit their local public library as they have free internet access with which they can apply for toys.
Q: I received an email from the localtoysfortots email address but reply emails do not go through. What should I do?
A: For unknown reasons, we have seen this problem a lot. Please direct all emails to LasVegas.NV@ToysforTots.org. We have also noticed that the localtoysfortots emails occassionally end up in the Junk/Spam folder. Please review these folders prior to contacting us.
Q: I was approved last year, do I have to reapply this year?
A: Yes. Every year you'll have to re-submit in order to recieve toys or become a local drop site. Please ensure you have the right 501(C) information and a good point of contact.
